Dr. Dwight
McNally, DVM |
Dr. McNally has been practicing veterinary medicine
for over 25 years. He was born and raised in
Bridgeport, Michigan, and spent two years at Alma
College before receiving his Bachelor’s of Science and
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees from Michigan
State University in 1981. Immediately following
graduation, he practiced in the Detroit area prior to
returning to Saginaw. In 1985, he joined the team at
Gratiot Animal Hospital, and became the practice owner
the following year.
Dr. McNally works exclusively with
small animals, and in addition to surgery and medicine
is most interested in and dedicated to fostering a
happy, healthy bond between people and their pets.
He
and his wife, Brenda, have three children – Ryan, Jillian
and Jordan; and two pets of their own, a 16 year old cat
named Tibbles, and a Golden
Retriever named Annie. In his free time, Dr. McNally
enjoys spending time with his family, travel, playing
golf, running and playing the piano. |

Dr.
Sheryl A.
Gilbert is a native of Zilwaukee. She
attended Delta College before receiving her
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Michigan
State University. Dr. Gilbert practiced in the
Clio area before returning to Saginaw in 1989 to
join the team at Gratiot Animal Hospital.
Dr. Gilbert
works solely with small animals and some pocket
pets, including simple wing and beak trims on
birds. In addition to surgery and medicine, she
takes pride in assisting the people of the
Tri-City area maintain a healthy relationship
with their beloved pets.
Dr. Gilbert
enjoys being a wife and mother to her two
children, while caring for her ponies, cats and
birds. |

Dr. Sheryl A.
Gilbert, DVM |

Dr. Sheri A.
Mayer, DVM |
Dr. Mayer has been practicing veterinary
medicine since her 1987
graduation from Michigan State University, College
of Veterinary Medicine. She has been a part of
the team at Gratiot Animal Hospital since 1996,
and very much enjoys working with doctor's
McNally and Gilbert.
Dr. Mayer works specifically with small animals. In
addition to surgery and medicine, she is dedicated to
encouraging a
happy and healthy bond between the residents of
the Mid-Michigan area and their
pets.
She has two children and loves to spend time
with them and her husband, David. They have many
pets; including a dog named Emmy, 3 cats,
2 goats, several sheep, chickens and peacocks. In Dr. Mayer's
free time she enjoys playing tennis, biking,
running and attending her children's sporting
events. |
